Katy Perry – Wide Awake

New single Wide Awake by Katy Perry is a true reflection of her journey and the final chapter of ‘Teenage Dream’.

This is quite different to previous material that we have heard from Katy as the track is quite down tempo in comparison but still has enough of a beat to tap along too. Wide Awake has quite and electronic feel but the main focus is on the vocal and lyrics. The track feels very heartfelt and Katy sounds very strong in what she is singing and can be felt by the listener.
