A blog about my beautiful friend Erin Mcneill.
A few years ago she died 5 times following a fire accident caused by a friend and spent 3months in ICU. For the past few years she has been tirelessly campaigning for fire safety awareness and raising money for The Firefighters Charity. This year she has decided to do some things for herself, and to gain back some of the life she had before aswell as gain some confidence – she has started entering beauty pageants. This is also to raise awareness for scars and disfigurements in the media world/beauty industry and to show others out there not to hide away and be ashamed.
She is very passionate about her work as a Katie Piper Foundation Ambassador for Scotland. Unfortunately she has become the victim of some very nasty internet trolls making facebook pages and twitter accounts to abuse her, call her ugly and say she is attention seeking.
Erin is my best friend who does lots for charities and is in no way an attention seeker, she’s simply just an honest caring person and is trying to find a new goal in life and she wants to help others in similar situations.
