Maroon 5 – Payphone

After the massive popularity of ‘Moves Like Jagger’ Maroon 5 are set to release their next single ‘Payphone’ taken from their new album ‘Overexposed’.  The biggest difference between their latest single and Moves Like Jagger is that it is not as dance driven or catchy but this isn’t a bad thing. In comparison to its action packed video the song is quite cool and this is helped by the contribution of rapper Whiz Khalifa. The simpleness of the track, with just drums and piano, goes well in contrast with the video. The brightness of the piano in the verses of the track blends well for a light feel and the chorus will become quite catchy creating another popular track for Maroon 5.
