Students at the London College of Beauty Therapy (LCBT)

worked for 8 hours to complete 2219 mini manicures with the

help of Andrea Fulerton, Nail Technician to the Stars!

LCBT raised approximately £1000 at their Guinness World Records™

attempt on Thursday 10th May for Rays of Sunshine and The Eve

Appeal.

Andrea worked alongside students to help with the challenge.

Other supporters of the event included the UK’s number one hand

model, Nina Taylor and boy band members Aston and JB from JLS.

Andrea Fulerton said, “I really wanted to be part of bringing

back a British World Record while supporting some great new

talents entering the Nail and Beauty Industry.”

LCBT were the first to ever set the record for the most nails

filed and varnished in 8 hours back in 2010 with 1897 mini

manicures and are pleased to have raised so much money for two

very worthy causes while beating their original record.

Eileen Cavalier OBE, CEO of LCBT Said “This event was about

giving our learners the opportunity to be part of something

that they would never usually have been able to experience as

we have always tried to create careers not courses. Taking

part in a Guinness World Records attempt will look great on

their CV’s when they qualify and seek employment.”
